uh, really? If that happens with the above setup, that is very,
very odd (and should not happen).

If however you have any 'jack' audio objects in the setup (versus ALSA
ones above), then it's business as normal (use
'-G:jack,ecasound,notransport' to make sure ecasound ignores transport for
both sending and receiving).
