I a week old user of ecasound, and I don't think you can use a channel
directly, but you can do the following, which I did find in the mail
ecasound -f:32,12,44100,i -a:st1,st2 -i:alsa,default \
-a:st1 -f:32,2,44100,i -o:stereo1.wav \
-a:st2 -f:32,2,44100,i -erc:3,1 -erc:4,2 -o:stereo2.wav
Where chain "st1" or stero1.wav will get the first two stero channels
... chain "st2" will copy channel 3 and four into stero2.wav as left and
right ... so something like that ... if I understand it correcly ...
P.S. On a second though, you could try ...
ecasound -f:s16_le,12,44100,i -a:sto -i:alsa,default \
-a:sto -f:s16_le,12,44100,i -erc:9,1 -erc:10,2 -o:alsa,default
I think this would copy channel 9 input to channel 1 output and channel
10 input to channel 2 output ... but you would also have to have a full
duplex sound card ... but I can't test this ...
