Ok, I added a new function to the ECI API - error(). This is
really just a convenience function, that returns...
"Returns true (!= 0) if error has occured during the execution
of last EIAM command. Other returns false (= 0)."
Without this, checking for errors would be a bit cumbersome in some
implementations (especially in C).
